Shilpa Shetty and husband Raj Kundra surely know how to value good friends and cherish relationships. The couple hosted a special dinner party for Australian spinner Shane Warne and his girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley (British model cum actress) at their Juhu residence. The two of them were in Mumbai after a long time.
Warne is no more a part of Shilpa- Raj’s IPL team Rajasthan Royals, but Shilpa considers him to be a good friend and also a “moral support” for the team. More than that, he remains a good friend of Shilpa and Raj Kundra.
“Great to see @warne888 and @ElizabethHurley at our home, fun evening at home with a few friends:) Food from Cafe 212 was fab even if I say so myself! Yum,” Shilpa Shetty tweeted after the party.
in turn, Hurley too thanked Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra for the dinner tweeting,
“Thank you to @TheShilpaShetty and @TheRajKundra for the most delicious dinner and enchanting cuddle with the Mini Kundra xxxxxx.”
The party was not a very grand affair with only few very close friends and family members. The guests we spotted at the bash were Chunky Pandey with his wife Bhavna Pandey, Suniel Shetty with wife Mana Shetty, Gayatri Joshi with husband Vikas Oberoi and Gautam Singhania and wife Nawaz.
Bollywood celebs went hopping from one party to another as Amitabh Bachchan, Shilpa Shetty, Ekta Kapoor and Ameesha Patel hosted them for their friends and well-wishers. The same night, Shilpa Shetty and hubby Raj Kundra, too, played hosts at their home. Ameesha Patel also invited her friends over at her place for a round of taash and some festivities.

Shilpa Shetty’s fans, who are eagerly awaiting the return of this leggy lass on the silver screen will have to wait for quite some time as the actress is busy these days with her three month old son, Viaan.
At an event to promote skin care line Olay, Shilpa said that she was enjoying her role as a mother and had no intentions of returning to the films so soon. “Right now, I am a full-time mother and completely enjoying it. I have no time for films. I am on a sabbatical for I don’t know how long. Motherhood is such an amazing experience that everything else takes a back seat,” said Shilpa.
Shilpa, who made her first public appearance post her delivery was attired in a loose white and black kurta which hid her post pregnancy flab, but the actress made it clear that losing weight was not on her priority list now.
“There are surely lot of insecurities about your weight, skin and the way you look post-pregnancy. But all this becomes a lot easy when you have good and right advice.
There are pressures on every woman but being a celebrity when we are scrutinised every time for everything, the pressure surely increases. But I haven’t started losing weight because it is not on my priority list right now. It is my baby and all that is important for him that tops the list,” she said.

Shilpa Shetty, who recently delivered a baby boy, is ready to hit back her professional life with vigour and passion. She is not only working hard to get back into shape but is also taking keen interest in hubby Raj Kundra’s debut on TV with SFL Challengers. This also happens to be Shilpa’s debut production venture and the actress felt that she needed to celebrate as India’s first action reality show unfolded on TV.
The show is a reality television series that follows a group of MMA fighters as they compete with one another in an elimination style competition, where their lives and relationships with each other and their families are depicted.
Shilpa threw a bash at her place and called over her relatives, well-wishers and close friends from the industry to watch the first episode air on TV. Like a perfect host, Shilpa made it sure that all the arrangements were in place for the guests.
The second and third episode of SFL Challengers will be aired this Saturday and Sunday on Neo Prime at 9 pm and Zoom at 10 pm.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan faced quite a lot of criticism for not being able to shed her post pregnancy flab for quite long. However, new mommy Shilpa Shetty seems to be in no mood for being the target of flak for those extra kilos.
We have heard that the long legged beauty is working hard on treadmill for getting back her envious figure once again. If you are wondering that it is way too early for the actress to take it so hard, let us tell you that Shilpa is eager to get back her slim figure because she is all set to shoot a special promotional video for hubby Raj Kundra and friend Sanjay Dutt’s action reality show, Super Fight League.
In fact, Shilpa has already covered half the way. She gained close to 19 kilos during her pregnancy and has already lost ten of those! Kudos for that!!

The lead pair of ‘Kya Super Kool Hain Hum’, Tusshar and Riteish Deshmukh, will be seen grooving on Shilpa Shetty’s superhit item number ‘UP Bihar Lootne’. The song has been rechristened as ‘Hum Toh Hain Cappuccino’ by lyricist Kumaar and has been choreographed by the veterans Rekha and Chinni Prakash.
An elaborate dhaba set, which cost over 2 cr, was set up at Mumbai’s Film City. Tusshar, Ritiesh, Sarah-Jane Dias and Neha Sharma shot for the song here.
Says producer Ekta Kapoor, “Our team debated extensively on the choice of track before we arrived at ‘U.P. Bihar Lootne’! It’s not just another run-of-the-mill item number that you see these days. It is supremely quirky, funny and signature super kool, which goes very well with the tone of the film. The boys have completely outdone themselves and the track promises to take the hype around the film to a new level.”
Ekta has special promotional plans for the song. She will be featuring the song in a single evening on Balaji’s four consecutive leading prime-time soaps (‘Pavitra Rishta’, ‘Parichay’, ‘Kya Hua Tera Vaada’ and ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hain’).
The new parents Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty were beaming with joy as they posed for the cameras when they came out with their three-day old baby boy from Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai on Friday to take him home. However, the media could not manage to capture the image of the new born who was cosily wrapped in a soft white sheet lying cradled in Raj’s hands. Shilpa looked as charming as ever with an added glow of motherhood as she waved at the photographers attired in a buttoned-down blue and black coloured tunic with leggings and with a bag slung over her shoulders. Raj wore a blue shirt with denims.
The baby is yet to get its name as Shilpa’s mother, Sunanda Shetty, who has in-depth knowledge of astrology will choose the first alphabet of the baby’s name. Thereafter, both Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra will decide the name.

Well, the happy tidings are in as Shilpa Shetty becomes a proud mother of a healthy baby boy today on May 21 at the Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai under the exper hands of Dr. Kiran Coelho.
